The
National Aboriginal Council on Species At Risk meets to discuss the administration of the Species at Risk Act which includes species assessment, recovery, management and action planning. The council is particularly concerned with the listing of species under SARA that affect Aboriginal rights and treaty rights across Canada. There have been a number of species that the council have received presentations on and have discussed.
